The PH260’s unique design maximizes both productivity and stability. The upper and lower cutters, much wider than other large planers, mean superior flexibility. But you don’t sacrifice stability – the oversized upper and lower cutters are supported at both ends, a feature you won’t find in traditional multi-cutter planers. The lower and side cutters are integrated to the solid table made of precision-planed heavy cast iron. The machine cabinet itself is made of 5/32nd-inch (4mm) sheet steel.

Deep Milling Capability

The upper cutter planes up to 3/8” (8 mm) deep plus the molding depth and the side cutters up to 7/8” deep for easy finishing of rough-sawn or unevenly sawn boards.

Solid Throughput

Five strategically-located rollers firmly and securely hold the board during processing to keep vibration to a minimum for high-quality, professional smooth milling.

Fully-Supported Upper and Lower Cutters

The upper and lower cutters are supported at both ends for maximum stability.

Cast-Iron Table

Solid, precision-planed, heavy cast-iron table for maximum stability. Strategic low-friction strips are inlayed in the cast-iron opposite the feed rollers for smooth, trouble-free feeding. These critical details are missing on the Taiwanese and Chinese brands.

Micro-Precision Height Adjustment

Micro-adjust the depth-of-cut in 1/8” (0.1 mm) increments. Easy-use crank and easy-read scale means fast, precise, dependable depth-of-cut adjustments.
