Norwood Photo and Video Challenge 2023
Since 2008, Norwood Sawyers have been sharing their awesome wood projects with us for a chance to win up to $8,000 in Norwood cash. These projects have been nothing short of remarkable and always inspire us to get out there and build our own.
Divided into four categories this year, the top three photos and/or videos in each category will earn valuable Norwood cash. Now is your chance to turn your hard work and creativity into new products or upgrades to your mill so you can build bigger and better in the coming year!

The 2023 Challenge
Our 2023 Photo and Video Challenge is now closed. Thank you for your participation. Our team will be reviewing every submission soon, and will be in touch if your submission is selected as a winner!
This year we’re celebrating 30 years of Norwood innovation and success, thanks to you, our Norwood family! With your support we’ve been helping sawyers around the world tackle their dream builds one log at a time. To celebrate, we’re setting our first-place prize to the most it’s ever been - $1,500 in Norwood cash per category!
The Rules
- Contest runs from August 16 – October 31, 2023. Only entries received during this time frame will count, so make sure to get them in!

Each category will have 1 winner and two runners-up. The first-place prize is $1,500 in Norwood Cash and the Runner-ups each get $250!
- Pick your best photograph from any of the categories or submit a video of your Norwood Sawmill Adventure.
Don’t forget to include a short written story to accompany your submitted photo and/or video of your proudest Norwood accomplishment for the Norwood Sawmill Adventure Category
- Norwood owners are eligible to enter in any or all categories for their chance to win. Only one entry (project) per category per person will be accepted (though different views of the same project are welcome). You may submit entries to multiples categories. Project entries previously submitted in past contests are not eligible for resubmission.
- By submitting photos, contestants unconditionally authorize Norwood to use or reproduce the images in newsletters, publications, advertisements and in web, print and video marketing materials.
- Submit all entries using the entry form.
- Winners will be contacted by email, announced here on Norwood’s website, and on Norwood’s Facebook page.
**Winners will be awarded valuable "Norwood Cash" that can be used towards purchasing equipment and supplies directly from Norwood Industries Inc. or Norwood Sawmills USA Inc.
**Prizes do not include shipping or taxes. Prizes are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable. In accepting any prize(s), the prize recipient acknowledges that Norwood cannot be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using the prize(s).
