Uh Oh, its here!

June 13th open-house. Whom is attending?

I know KCQuick said he'll be there as well as Rolland Garrison and Bill Mac. David Boyt will be MC. Another session about milling quality softwood construction lumber will be called "Milling with Bushhog Bill". Please come all ye forum members and we can form a conspiracy......a conspiracy to improve our Skills.

Mike, Trevor and the rest of the Norwood staff have promised that they would have a mill set up in a distinct area for the forum members. They are calling it the "Pro-Owners Quarter". Its an area where owners can discuss and demonstrate tricks and skills and help each other rise above ourselves and pull deeply from the acquired skills of our group. The payoff for Norwood, I suppose, is that many of us will upgrade our mills or accessories as a result of our newly heightened skills and attributes.

I'm lying of course but lets see if they are listening as that would be wonderful. I have really enjoyed meeting every member of this forum and hope to meet as many of you as I can at the open-house, even Quip, even Latham Farms.

Best!

Yeah, I'll be telecommuting. Look for me.

I'm getting a 20' container and my tractor delivered to the tree farm the 19th, so I have to save up my travel money for that. The container will be my garage for the tractor.

Sorry to miss it this year.  I've attended several open houses, and they are great events!  Wonderful people, sawmills, & terrific food.  Looking forward to pictures!!

Do like I do; telecommute! Instead of actually showing up, simply sit on your old 8n and dream of all the great things you would see there!

Of course, I don't have something as cool as an old Ford tractor, so I'll have to do something else.

A sawmill is way cooler than an ol' 8N.

Got any rain?

In PA we only have rain, it would seem, these days.

It was sunny at the show. I forgot to take pictures cause I was talking and I can't multitask.

I don't know about global warming, but we have definitely had midwest raining this spring, all the way down to Texas.

Finally drying off a bit.  Looks like good weather for logging & milling!

Sorry I did not make it this year to the open house. I had full intentions but life got in the way. I do still have intentions of attending one and hopefully meet some of the people on the form to network with you one on one. I think that would be a great time.
