Carrige Wheeles and Bolt holes for the axles warn out

Trying to produce good lumber after about 6-7 yrs idle We found the carriage wheels were warn out//. After replacing the Wheels found the Holes in the frame were also warn oblong by as much as 3/8 inch We are about to make 2"x 4" x 1/8"plates and drill and weld them over the bad holes Pictures to follow when I learn how to Post them// JP

Thanks for the heads-up, JP. I haven't yet, but will someday check the carriage wheels on my LM2000 (from 2004) with your observations in mind. As it rolls o.k. for now, I'll probably procrastinate until problems show up. I hope you succeed in adding your pictures. When Norwood seemingly abandoned the forum, they left most of us scratching our heads about inserting photos.

I’ve figured out how to upload a picture, but no matter what I do it flips it upside down and scrambles it lol. Even if I flip the picture over before I upload it it still comes out upside down.
