When I bought this mill in 1996 Also bought the band sharpener and setter. I see now where there are different cams for the sharpener. I use 7/8 pitch bands is my old cam still good for the newer bands

I have used my 7/8 pitch cam on the sabertooth blades and it works pretty well. First time I sharpen them it doesn’t grind all of the gut, but after that it gets pretty much the whole profile. Same for the 3/4 pitch cam on the 3/4” pitch blades.

Thanks David as soon as the snow melts I am going to try the sabertooth blades.Some one wants some locus sawen this spring.Those bands sound like they will do the job
