Sawmill Cover
Good Day Everyone !! I just / finally ordered a cover for my HD36. I unpacked it today & went out to install it. Sure seems like a 2 man job to me !! While the cover is of good, heavy duty quality, I am concerned that there is a real potential for it ripping on the sharper sections of the sawhead. Has anyone had experience with the cover ? I would greatly appreciate any of you sharing any tips & tricks with the rest of us on the forum.

I bought a cover when I got the mill and use it whenever I leave it out overnight. I usually have to climb up on the tracks to pull it over and used to worry about tearing it but it has held up surprisingly well. It is a chore putting it on though - tight fit lol.

BYW I managed to go get an elm that will barely fit in the mill - I’ll shoot you some pics when I cut it.

Does anyone have any theories as to the purpose of these spam comments? Are they going out automatically to any website or forum that does not protect itself? Is it all from automated bots? Obviously, the content does not interest sawmill operators. Can they phish for information in your device if you click on the highlighted areas (they all seem to have one)? Any insight, anyone? It doesn't make sense that real humans would be wasting their energy posting these irrelevant comments except to serve some nefarious purpose.

I agree 100% with your post. But...remember...there are idiots out there that thought it was a good idea to eat Tide Pods !!
