pop ups

I get these pop-ups on my screen when I am on the forums. They block what I am trying to read or write. How can i get rid of them. Below is a screen shot of them.

It could be that when your mouse hovers over something, it pops up like that. Maybe be a bit cautious about where your mouse moves.
To get rid of it, maybe hit the escape key?

Dang, they are infectious! Now I have them too!
Browsing with Internet Explorer 8, in XP. I wonder if Norwood made some website changes that makes it harder for that older browser to display well.
If you are using Internet Explorer, maybe try a different browser?

I'm using Chrome on Windows 7. I have had the 'share' pop-up on the bottom right since I signed on to the forum, but the language one is new.

Is there an administrator/moderator I can send a message to?

Does anyone moderate this forum? I still having the same problem. If I click on the X I get nothing, If I click on the ENGLISH(GLOBAL), I get taken to the home page. It is quite annoying.

Yeah; it seems like something is seriously wrong. When I am in the indexes, it isn't as bad, but when I select a forum, it gets bad. I tried in two browsers, Chrome and IE.

There is an 'X' om a circle at the top right corner oft he language box, but it is useless; the icon is there, but no link (so it doesn't work).

I'm guessing the guy that manages the forums is out of school for summer break... (sorry about the dig, but this should have been corrected by now)

Hi Guys

I sent an email to the IT dept. to look into this and hopefully resolve asap.

yup..still there

Hello again

Sorry guys. We're still working to get this resolved. It sounds like it may be a cache issue. The problem the IT guys are having is they're unable to replicate the popup on the server and that makes it a bit more challenging, but we'll get it sorted out.

Google Chrome users can try this as a temporary solution - Go to settings, browsing history, then clear your history including the cache.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Regards,
Mike at Norwood

If they aren't having it happen on their servers, it could be an OS issue. My computer is running XP. If someone wants me to email a msinfo32 file, I can do this easily.

One more note: The pop-up only appears for me in the forum, not on any of the indexes of forums. Comparing the format of the two may help, even if they can't reproduce the problem. If When I am looking at the list of subjects, no problem. If I select one, and can see the posts, then problem. Not sure why the header is different between the two.

Hi Guys

The issue should now be resolved. Thanks again for your patience, as well as your support.
