hi..... i just took the survey sent to me..... at first i thought it might be a help us improve type survey...... by the time i finished it seemed more of a satisfaction type survey for marketing purposes..... don't worry, i gave norwood the honest high marks they deserved....
a true help us improve type survey would be beneficial to norwood and future buyers....
the questions would be different of course.....
questions like,
what broke first....
what bent first.....
what went out of alignment first......
how long did the rails last....
would welding the rails the full length help keep the straight.....
how easy is it to crank, choke and start the mill....
could you think of a more convenient place for those start/choke controls.....
how long did the valve on the water tank last....
how durable is the water tank valve....
how effective is the saw dust chute....
is there any part that should be better mechanically attached....
can you think of a better log stop attachment design.....
can you think of a more versatile log clamp design to better match mill height.....
would a nut, for torque purposes, welded on the blade bar help for tension help....
would a hour meter be helpful....
how user friendly is the website.....

these are not complaints, remember i gave norwood the high marks it deserves in the "satisfaction" survey..... these, and dozens more, are the types of "how to improve" questions that enter our minds after pushing that mill for over 10,000 hours....
so , if you see me pushing that mx34 for my 10,001 hour on that 100 degree day and you see me bust out laughing, rest assured it won't be at a single question on that "satisfaction" survey.....
i'll be laughing at something like, 'now how long did they expect that plastic blade guard to last'..... lol......h
