Sawmill Cover
Good Day Everyone !! I just / finally ordered a cover for my HD36. I unpacked it today & went out to install it. Sure seems like a 2 man job to me !! While the cover is of good, heavy duty quality, I am concerned that there is a real potential for it ripping on the sharper sections of the sawhead. Has anyone had experience with the cover ? I would greatly appreciate any of you sharing any tips & tricks with the rest of us on the forum.

Norwood Digital scale on LM2000
Was wondering if anyone can comment on whether or not the digital scale works on the LM2000. The scale that came on my saw is long gone. Thought I might just spring for this digital scale if it's compatible with my old mill. I'm going to order an extension anyway, just as well spring for this new digital scale & bring the old LM2000 into the digital age. Gus

My depth measuring system

A couple of years ago I came up with a quick and easy system for selecting height/depth on repeat saw cuts. There is a metal index system on my saw which never worked and for the most part I simple count the crank turns; Onr turn = 1 1/8" two turns = 2 1/4" etc.

Wanted: LM2000 2’ bed extension

Looking to add a 2’ bed extension to the other side of my LM2000. It might be a long shot but figured it can’t hurt to ask if someone has one laying around not being used. This was mainly angle pieces that added 2’.

engine dose not shut off after starting

Hello friend I own Norwood MX34 . fitt with Briggs and stratton 23hp model 386447 I have encountered lately when I start the engine it will work good, but when I ant to turned it off it won’t turn off so I have installed small gasoline line valve to shut the gasoline so I can shut the engine. My question dose any body run into this situation before . I was suspicious of the wire cables or the harness. I appreciate your reply Ahmed alsayyed

What has happened to this forum ? All I see now are comments to older articles with people promoting unrelated products. Seems like the forum needs new moderators. Not running smooth on tracks
Hey folks. Hoping to get a couple ideas from the collective before the spammers show up. Having a harder time pushing the carriage down the tracks this week. It happens every once in a while. Usually means the tracks need relevelling. Did that three times. Ok. Must have dropped a log on too hard and now it’s sideways a bit. Can’t see it anyway. Felt like the top of the tracks are getting mushroomed a bit. So I files the edges to smooth. Also loosened off the wheels a bit. No fix. Any ideas? It enough that one spot I have to put my back into it to push it through the log. Not good.

Was cleaning out the sawmill shed and found two boxes that was opened. Looked in side and there was a square metal plate and handles. Found the instruction that said lap siding and shingle maker. We have a Mar4 mill and have never used them. Has any one used this on your mill ? Not sure if we will ever use them but might try is some day.

HD36 cable lubricant
I need y’all’s help. We are back to figuring out the sawmill and finally figured out I was sent a bad batch of blades. I cannot find in the manual which type of lubricant to use for the cables. My brain is thinking I just used the ATF but can’t remember. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Norwood customer service
Have any of you been having trouble's with customer service? I needed a throttle cable and ordered it from Norwood along with a couple other small parts. I was told the cable and parts was in stock. My mill was still running but not throttling down due to a pinch in the old cable. After about 3 months I tried to get a hold of Norwood and left numerous voice and email messages, with no one returning my call.

Communication issues with Norwood Customer Service
I’m wondering if anyone else is having issues with Norwood Customer Service. I ordered and paid for some ceramic blocks and blades on 5/4/2021 and a gentleman, Michael, did reply to a few inquires. I asked if the ceramics could be sent and I could wait for the new blades. He shared that it if I did that, the order for blades would go back to the bottoms of the list and I would have to pay separate shipping costs. So all I’m getting is computerized responses now that they haven’t forgotten me. I’ve asked and received no reply on when I can expect shipment.

Two foot bed extension
Hi, I'm looking for a bed extension to fit a LumberMatePro. These are back ordered and not expected in for many months. I'm wondering if anyone in Southern Ontario might have one extra to sell. I would be interested in either a two-foot or a four-foot extension. Thanks, Warren........

Throttle cable for LM29
Does anyone know where I can get a throttle cable for my LM29? The case is about 87" and the cable is about 91". I can't find the parts catalog for my mill on the Norwood site and I imagine I can get one cheaper elsewhere, if I can find one with the ring on the end. Thanks

Advice on selling my LM29

Hi, The time has come to part with my LM29. My heart is still in it but my back says otherwise. I am trying to figure out what a good price would be for the mill. It has about 100 hours on it,it has a 4' bed extension, 13hp Honda engine, and least 10 blades. It runs perfectly. I've looked on Craigslist but can't seem to find any prices . What are your ideas of its value? is there somewhere else I can look for a price? Thanks, David Campton, NH
