Oak prices
What’s oak selling for I have. A person Who would like 33 pieces 4 foot long 3 inches thick 11 inches wide not sure what the going price should be any ideas thanks

Hello. As I know, oak is on the more expensive side because it is classified as a hardwood, oak is one of the cheapest hardwoods. The price of Oakwood ranges between $1505 to $2520/cubic meter ($43 to $72 per cubic foot)

Here in Texas Red oak is ~$4/bf flat sawn, $6/bf quarter sawn - white oak is $5/bf flat sawn and $7.50/bf quarter sawn. That’s 4/4 pricing - you may be able to ask a little more for custom cut boards. You might go online and look up local rough cut prices.

3” x11” x 4’ works out to 11 board feet in each board so each one is a pretty good chunk of change lol.
