Hello fellow sawyers. I am having issues with my altenator belt. I have changed it a number of times which now I feel I have to have at least one spare handy. The original belt was a notched type and I am trying the solid type so I have no issues with the knobs breaking off. Other than that I love my HD 36 with its hydraulics. Is this supposedly the norm or is there a way to correct this.
hi..... i just took the survey sent to me..... at first i thought it might be a help us improve type survey...... by the time i finished it seemed more of a satisfaction type survey for marketing purposes..... don't worry, i gave norwood the honest high marks they deserved....
a true help us improve type survey would be beneficial to norwood and future buyers....
the questions would be different of course.....
questions like,
what broke first....
what bent first.....
what went out of alignment first......
I still find it impossible for me to post pictures . Anyway that this site could resize pictures automatically ? Not good at this computer stuff . I use a apple computer .
I was just thinking it would be a good idea if they had a new post for us The Norwood Sawyers so that we could tell the Norwood community who we are, why we bought a Norwood as apposed to someone else is, where we are located approximaty, maybe type of wood we saw, and possibly PM address.and anything I can think about, oh and one or two pictures of our Norwood setup.
What you say Norwood.

I cant seem to get spell check to workk on this forrrum, whyy? My spell check works everwhere else but not heeeer............
I come read new messages almost every day, when I am done reading them, I use the drop down to "Mark all forums read"
Sometime in the last week or so the "Norwood Sawmills & Equipment Forum" forum started to say there is "1 new " even after marking them all read
If I click on the "1 new" is takes me to were I would normally see the new topics but there is no un read topics
I have even tried using the "Mark all topics read" with no luck..
I am curious if this is happening to other and / or if this is a bug in the forum.
Thanks
The question is can we use photos posted in Facebook in the Norwood Forum?
Has Norwood ever made or considered making a series of instructional videos on sawmill operation and lumber production? I know woodmizer makes one but if I bought it I would kind of feel I was cheating on Norwood.
Is there a garage sale coming or going currently?Cause I'm into buying a pro sharpener / setter set up.
It is too bad that you can't order accessories for our mills online. There is a place to order mills but if you want just a box blades etc. you can't. Also when I went to the online ordering section from being logged in on the forum, the site doesn't recognize me being logged in. I think it would be as a Norwood mill owner at least, nice to be able to buy accessories online because it is hard for me to always get on a phone to order what I would like.
How do others feel?
Cheers!
Steve
Nice new site norwood...... but then again,,,,,, forum needs to be easily acessable, same problem as last time. i liked how you made the correction last time. maby some others may want to chime in here too !!
Earlier today, I sent in a few questions about the new HD 36. Do you sensor the posts first? I hope that my questions get answered by anyone including Norwood employees.
Thank you,
Glenn Samuels
So I started a new post introducing myself and now it tells me when I click on it that I am not authorized to view and it automatically logs me off.
Is this normal for a new member?
mike can you tell me why every time i coment it double post ??? and i cant delete one of them, last time i tried it became 4 post ???
Why do I have to create new password every time I try to log on,it gives me a massage incorrect password when I just yesterday I got new one. This happens every time I try to log on.
Is anyone else not receiving notices when there is a comment posted to a topic you have started? I haven't gotten any in sometime and didn't realise peope had posted. The box is checked to receive notice.
I get these pop-ups on my screen when I am on the forums. They block what I am trying to read or write. How can i get rid of them. Below is a screen shot of them.

Can't seem to post in the Sawmill and wood processing section under the post by Bill about "Sawing". He put up nice pics and I wanted to post but when I view his post the site boots me out and asks me to log in if I want to post. This also happens with Eddimac's post on "look what I made". I am logged in. So wondering if any body else is having a problem?
Cheers!
Are there other Norwood Portable Sawmill owners in your area? Wouldn't it be great if there was a list or map of other sawmill owners willing to put up a demonstration or give advice on assembly, maintenance, milling etc.

I seem to be having difficulty in opening and reading private messages I must keep logging in because it says access denied You are not authorized to access this page. If I open an old message 1st then it will allow me to open the new one ??? Any ideas.
